Using a 5/32" hex wrench, install and tighten (5) of the shorter black button heads and washers in the locations shown above.
Using an 8mm socket or wrench, remove the bolt shown above. This is on the front right of the engine behind the coolant tank.
Install the shortest of the 3 mounting brackets in the orientation shown above. This bracket should be pointing straight up and down. Reinstall the factory bolt to retain the bracket, but leave loose enough that adjustments can be made.
Using a 10mm socket, remove the two bolts shown above. These are located on the right side of the engine bay behind the oil dipstick.
Install the longest of the three mounting brackets using the factory hardware removed in the previous step. This bracket should also be pointing straight up, and also should be left loose enough for adjustments to be made.
Locate the last mounting hole as shown above. This is on the left side of the engine and located on the side of the galvanized bracket holding the coolant hose.
Using one of the longer black 1/4" button head bolts, washers, and flange nuts, install the final L-shaped mounting bracket in the orientation shown. Leave this bracket loose enough for adjustments.
Using (3) more of the longer black button heads and washers, mount the engine cover to the (3) mounting brackets. This may require some minor adjusting/pivoting of each mounting bracket. Once all (3) bolts are installed, tighten all hardware.
Finally, tighten all hardware that is holding the mounting brackets to the engine. Be sure to double check hardware on the engine cover for tightness as well! Youre done!
