If equipped with factory cross bars you will need to remove the outer plastic caps as shown using a pry tool or flat screwdriver.
With the locking tabs released on both sides you will slide the covers outward to remove them.
Next loosen the bolt shown using a 5mm hex or 10mm socket.
Then pull outward to release the cross bar from the rail. Repeat this step on the opposite side and lift off to remove the crossbar.
Mark each adhesive pad 1 3/4" in from the edge and draw a line across using a straight edge. (For reference the opposite end should measure 2 3/4")
Cut along the line using a sharp pair of sheers or scissors.
The larger pad will be applied to the outer mounting bracket. The smaller pad will be applied to the inner mounting bracket.
Clean the surface thoroughly using isopropyl alcohol.
Peal the backing and apply the adhesive pads matching the radius corners on the pad to the radius corners on the bracket as shown.
Correct installation shown for each mount.
Place the inner and outer bracket in the desired location on the roof rail and loosely install two bolts and nuts as shown.
With the mounting brackets loosely installed on both sides of the vehicle, place the crossbar over the mounts and loosely install two bolts and nuts in each side as shown.
Tighten the mounts to the factory rails in the desired location, then center the crossbar over the mounts and tighten. Hardware will be tightened using a 3/16" hex and a 1/2" socket/wrench.
