Check that you have all of the parts and hardware shown before starting.
Remove the bolt that holds the crossmember to the frame rail with a 14mm socket or box-end wrench. It gets replaced with the supplied bolt later.

Pop the two clips holding the wiring harness to the frame with a flat blade screwdriver or clip tool and move the harness away from the frame.
Video timestamp: 0:50
Pop off the plastic cap and peel off the sticker on the frame. Slide the supplied plate into the square hole in the crossmember now, because the slider will block the hole later.
Video timestamp: 1:05
Remove the two 12mm nuts holding the electronics box inside the frame rail and let the box hang out of the way for now.
Video timestamp: 1:30
With a helper or a floor jack (put a piece of wood between the jack and slider), raise the slider into place between the wheels. Make sure the wiring harness is not pinched between the slider and frame.
Video timestamp: 1:55
Loosely install the supplied bolt in the crossmember hole where the factory bolt came out. This locates the slider front to back.
Video timestamp: 2:30
Loosely install the five side bolts from the inside out: 1/2 in. x 1 in. bolt with a 1/2 in. washer and the thick 3/4 in. washer on the inside, then a 1/2 in. washer and 1/2 in. serrated lock nut on the outside.
Video timestamp: 3:00
Where a bolt touches the brake hoses, gently flex the lines up so they do not rub on the bolt or washer. Leave the electronics box hanging until everything is tight, then reinstall it over the bolt.
Video timestamp: 3:45
On the driver side, remove the brake line bracket bolt with a 12mm socket and carefully pop the brake lines out of the frame clip to make room for your hand.
Video timestamp: 5:00
Reach up inside the frame with the bolt for the front mount. Put a 1/2 in. nut on a magnet, fish it into the hole, line up the plate installed earlier, and thread a 1/2 in. bolt with washer into the serrated nut.
Video timestamp: 5:50
Tighten all of the slider hardware. The serrated nuts should hold without a wrench on the back side.
Video timestamp: 6:50
For hard rock use, drill the two optional holes in the bottom of the frame (one front, one rear) using the slider as a guide. Start small and step up to a 1/2 in. bit, then install the bolts.
Video timestamp: 7:50
Repeat the same process on the passenger side. You will not need to move the electronics box or the brake line bracket on this side.
