Slide the T-nuts into the T-slot channel of the rack crossbar where each bracket will be mounted. Each bracket uses 4 T-nuts and 4 button head screws (1/4-20 x 5/8”).
TIP: Leave the T-nuts loose in the channel so you can slide them into position once the brackets are spaced for your tent.
Set a bracket on the crossbar over the T-nuts and line the holes in the bracket flanges up with the T-nuts. Thread the 4 button head screws through the bracket into the T-nuts and snug them with a 5/32” Allen wrench. Repeat for all 4 brackets.
Measure the mounting channels on the bottom of your roof top tent. Slide the brackets along the crossbars so all 4 brackets line up with the tent’s mounting channels, then fully tighten the bracket screws with a 5/32” Allen wrench.
Set the roof top tent on the rack with its mounting channels over the brackets. Using the mounting hardware supplied with your tent, bolt up through the slots on top of each bracket into the T-slot channels on the bottom of the tent. Tighten all 4 brackets to clamp the tent securely to the rack.
That’s it! Make sure all of your bolts are tight and enjoy your new Roof Top Tent Mounting Brackets!
