Begin by dropping and removing the spare tire.

Unclip any of the clips that tie the bumper and frame together so the wires do not prevent the bumper from being removed later on.

Unplug the light wire. Use a pry tool to pry up on the red tab to allow for the red to be pulled back. Then, pry up on the black tab to pull the plug apart.

Repeat the previous step for the reverse camera wire. 

Press in on the tab in the center of the grey clip on the trailer wire while prying out on the black tab over it and pull that grey piece out. The trailer plug can then be removed by pressing in on the black tab and pulling back.

Remove the four bolts holding the spare tire bracket in place and pull the bracket off. the front 2 may be under a piece of foam. 

Remove the two bolts in side of frame on each side, then pull bumper off of the vehicle.

Remove the two bolts in the bottom of the hitch on each side, then pull the hitch off of the vehicle. 

Remove the bolt holding each light to the bumper and remove both lights from their retainers. 

Remove all clips and pull wiring harness out of the bumper. 

Push in on the metal tabs on either side of the trailer plug and push it through the bumper. 

Twist the passenger side license plate light counter clockwise and pop it out of the housing.

pass the harness over the hitch receiver tube, between the cross member and the bumper. The light housing can then be put back into the light.

Slip the tab on the light housing in the slot on the top of the provided light bracket. Then, tighten the light to the bracket using the 10-24 hardware.

Bolt the light and bracket to the inside of the bumper using the 1/4" hardware. The end with the bolt should be on the bottom as shown. 

if you don't have backup sensors, put the plastic plugs in the outer two holes on either side. If you do, put the rubber grommets in those holes instead. When installing the sensors, it may be necessary to cut a small slit in the harness loom in order to be able to separate the sensors enough to install. Be sure to seal everything back up with something like electrical tape.

This is the best time to install cube lights if the plan is to do so. Some lights will fit through the cutout after the bumper is installed but they will no longer be able to be installed from the inside.

Lift the bumper up into place and loosely secure it with the factory hitch and bumper bolts. 

Make sure the bumper is positioned appropriately and then tighten the hardware

Reconnect the light and reverse camera wires. Be sure to push the red tab back in on each. 

tie the wires up and out of the way. 

Install the grey bezel on both sides using the 1/4" hardware.

Snap the trailer plug into the provided bracket and mount it to the bumper using the 1/4" hardware. It may be helpful to pry out slightly on the metal tabs to get them to fully snap into place.

Connect the trailer plug and push the grey piece back into place. The wires can then be tied up

Bolt the small angled bracket onto the back of the license plate bracket and then, mount the side of the hinge with the bolt in it to the top of the angled bracket as well. 

The license plate bracket assembly can then be bolted onto the bumper with the 1/4" hardware. The nuts on the back can be installed through the cutout.

If not installing carriers, plastic plugs can be installed into the spindle sleeve. it is best to put a little bit of RTV around the rim to make a weatherproof seal on the sleeve in case carriers are installed later. 

If keeping the spare tire in the factory location, install the provided bracket with the factory bolts into the clip nuts in the front and 1/4" hardware in the rear. 

Push the rubber grommet into the spare tire guide bracket. 

Slide the bracket over the spare tire guide and then loosely bolt it into the spare tire bracket. Insert the spare tire tool in order to ensure the guide is in a good position and then tighten the bracket into place, finishing the install.
