Universal License Plate Relocation Kit Install
Included Parts: Light Spacer, two-piece carrier side bracket, light/plate mount
(2) 1/4-20x1" button head bolts, (4) 1/4-20x3/4" button head bolts, (6) 1/4-20 serrated flange nuts, (6) 1/4" USS flat washers, (2) 8-32x1.5" button head screws, (2) 8-32 Nyloc nuts, (1) 3/8-16 carriage bolt, (1) 3/8-16 wing nut, (1) 3/8 split lock washer, (3) male heat shrink connectors, (3) female heat shrink connectors
Combination License Plate/3rd Brake Light: White/Ground (-), Black/Plate Light (+), Red/Brake Light (+). Using your discretion you will need to locate a good ground and power source for each lighting feature from the vehicle.
Begin by installing the inner mounting bracket half over the tire mount studs on the carrier.
The tire can then be installed over the mount and secured.
Next install the outer bracket half as shown, secure it using the 3/8' carriage bolt, split washer and wing nut.
Secure the Light/Plate Mount to the bracket using the 1-1/2'" long button head bolts and serrated nuts in the holes shown. Tighten using a 5/32nd hex/allen wrench.
NOTE: If the mount is being installed in conjunction with one of the optional camera relocation kits, the camera brackets will bolt between the plate mount and carrier mount brackets using the 1-1/2" long hardware. (camera bracket varies by vehicle model)
Pass the wires through the center hole in the light spacer.
Then pass the wires through the wire hole/cutout on the mounting bracket.
Be sure that the top of the light is facing up as indicated on the light.
Secure the light to the mount using the 8-32 hardware as shown. Tighten these using a 3/32" allen wrench and 11/32" socket or wrench.
Install the crimp on butt connectors. You can choose male or female at the light and the opposite on the vehicle wiring side.
Once crimped, heat shrink the ends using a heat gun.
With all connectors crimped and heat shrunk they can be sealed and secured in loom to your preference.
The remaining 1/4" button heads, nuts, and washers will be used to secure the pate to the mount.
