Step by step on how to install the Roof Rack LED Light Kit. The kit includes two 6000K white LED lights (900 lumens each) that mount to any Victory 4x4 or JcrOffroad roof rack, universal cargo basket, or any flat surface with a 4" to 4-1/2" wide bolt slot. No drilling is required. Wiring is not included. Please read all steps carefully before starting the install.

Check that you have all of the parts and hardware shown before starting. Hardware pack: 071-0045 and 046-0172 (every bolt, nut and washer is listed in the bill of materials picture).
Push two 8-32 x 1-1/2" button head bolts through the outer clamshell from the outside in.

Drop a nylon spacer over each bolt, then set the LED light on the bolts so the spacers nest into the cutouts on the light housing.

Push the light flush against the clamshell and thread an 8-32 nylon locknut onto each bolt on the back side.

Hold the nut with an 11/32" wrench or socket and tighten the bolt with a 3/32" hex. Just snug them so the spacers and light are seated with no rattle. Do not overtighten.

Slide the backer plate on the inside of the roof rack side rail and set the light and clamshell over the outside. Route the light wires through the center cutout.

Push the 1/4-20 x 1" button head bolts through the clamshell, rail and backer plate, then thread on the 1/4-20 flange nylon locknuts.

Set the light parallel to the top edge of the rack, then tighten with a 7/16" wrench and a 5/32" hex.

Repeat steps 3 to 9 for the second light. Wire the lights to a switched 12V source (wiring is not included). Make sure both lights are tight with no rattle.
