Step by step on how to install the Victory 4x4 Blitz Front Bumper (VTU22FB) on a 2022+ Toyota Tundra. A helper and a jack are needed to lift the bumper into place.

Under the hood, remove the 4 x 10mm bolts holding the top of the grille to the core support. Unplug the 2 electrical connectors on each side of the grille (press the tab and pull), then remove the push clip behind them on each side.

Reach down behind the grille to the brace bracket on each side. Remove the 2 x 10mm bolts holding each bracket.

Under the front of the truck, remove the 4 x 10mm screws across the center. Moving out toward the wheel openings, remove the 2 screws on each side. Note: this may vary slightly depending on how your Tundra is equipped (active front air dam).

In each wheel opening, remove the 5 screws (the 5th is tucked up high). Then pop the first 3 retainers of the fender flare free, leaving the rest of the flare on the truck. Use a plastic pry tool to avoid damaging the paint.

Unplug the front marker light (press the thumb tab and pull). Feed the 2-wire connector back through the hole in the fascia so it stays with the truck. Peel back the inner fender and pop the harness out of its first retaining clip.

Reach behind the flare and pull the fascia off its retainer just in front of the fender on each side. Have a helper hold the other side so it does not fall. Pull the whole bumper and grille assembly straight out and set it on a bench.

Remove the aluminum crash bar: 4 x 17mm bolts per side (2 upper, 2 lower). A ratcheting wrench or shallow socket helps with the outer upper bolts. Support the crash bar before removing the last bolts.

On the bench, flip the fascia over. Release the locking tabs on the outer end caps and push them out partway. Then release the clips around the lower center section (lower clips push in on a tab) and remove it.

Lay tape straight across the top of the center rib as a guide. Wearing safety glasses, cut along the tape with a cutoff wheel. Watch out for the wire harness behind the fascia.

Make 2 mirrored cuts, one on each end of the opening. Tape along the edge and carry it straight back to the end of the fascia, then cut on the inside of the tape line. Clean up the edges.

Reinstall both end caps and put the fascia back on the truck in reverse order. Push it up into the retainers so it aligns, route and reconnect the marker light harness, snap the flare back, and reinstall all clips, connectors, braces and screws.

Install the light bar trim bezel with 6 black 1/4"-20 button heads and serrated flange nuts; tighten with a 5/32" hex. Mount the 20" light bar to the 2 slotted tabs inside the bumper with the light manufacturer's hardware.

Set the winch into the winch tray and secure it through the slotted bottom holes with the winch manufacturer's hardware, leaving it slightly loose for adjustment. Mount the fairlead on the face of the bumper.

Lower 2 holes per mount: factory bolts with the provided washer between bumper and frame mount. Next holes: 7/16" hex bolt, washer and flange locknut (bolt from the back, nut in front). Upper: same hardware, bolt from the top down. The factory stud is an alignment pin.

With a helper or jack, lift the bumper into place, checking clearance for the winch and light behind the grille. Mask painted surfaces if needed. Start all 4 factory bolts with washers first, then install the 7/16" hardware loosely. Center the bumper.

Tighten the factory bolts with a 17mm wrench, reaching through the front access cutouts. Then tighten the 7/16" hex hardware with a 5/8" wrench, sliding the bolts in the slots if anything interferes.

Install the side-specific tie-in brackets over the fascia tab with 2 x 1/4"-20 x 1" hex bolts, washers and flange nuts (7/16" wrench). Install the 5/16" button head, washer and Nylock from the bottom up through the factory bracket (1/2" wrench, 3/16" hex). Repeat on the other side.

Tighten the winch mounting bolts, wire the winch and light bar per the manufacturer specs, and install the fairlead and hook. The install is complete. Enjoy!
