Included Parts: (1) transmission / transfer case skid plate.
Included Hardware: 046-0057 bolt pack.
Tools: 5/8" socket, 11/16" wrench, and a jack to lift the skid.
If your truck has a 0-3" lift with aluminum diff drop spacers, you will need the VTU23SD-DROP2 spacer kit. With the kit, the shorter spacer goes between the cross member and this skid (skid, skid, spacer, cross member). No lift or no spacers = no kit needed.

Install this skid before the front skid; the front skid overlaps over the top of it for a smooth skidding surface. Raise the skid into place against the cross member.

Using the longer bolts from the kit with a washer and nut, push the bolts up through the cross member and bolt through the top.

Snug up the hardware, then repeat on the other side.

If you are keeping the factory TRD front skid, this skid goes up against the cross member and the TRD skid overlaps it. Loosen the TRD skid so you can get this skid between the cross member and the TRD skid, then bolt it back up.

If you are also installing our front skid, fish the nuts inside the cross member to bolt the two skids together. Tip: put the nuts in the cross member before raising the skids.

Tighten everything with a 5/8" socket, holding the nut on top with an 11/16" wrench.

Confirm all hardware is tightened. Congrats! Your installation of the Tundra Transfer Case Skid is now complete. Enjoy!
