GX 550 & LC 250 Hatch Molle Panel Install
Included Hardware: (4) Spacers (4) Carriage Bolts (4) Washers (4) Nyloc Nuts (bolt pack may contain extra hardware)
Start by opening the rear glass on the hatch and remove the trim panel shown above by using a plastic pry tool.
Starting in the center remove the 3 plastic panels shown above by using a plastic pry tool and pulling straight out.
At the base of the hatch you need to remove the 3 plastic panels shown here.
Place your tool at the top prying out and down to release the clips on this panel.
Pry from the bottom and pivot out to release the center latch cover.
Pry from the top of the switch plate and pivot out to release the panel.
Temporarily feed the switch panel into the hatch to get it out of your way.
Work around the perimeter of the remaining hatch panel pulling out to release the clips securing it to the hatch.
With the hatch cover removed you can use the molle panel as a guide to mark and drill 5/16" holes in the 4 square hole location shown above.
If your holes land on a ribbed section as shown here you will need to trim away the excess material to make room for the washer and nut.
Bolt the stainless logos to the back side of the molle panel using the provided hardware and tighten with an 1/8" hex.
The molle panel can now be bolted on using the carriage bolts and spacers as shown above.
With all hardware started you can tighten the nuts using a 1/2" socket or wrench.
At this point, the molle panel install is complete and the hatch can be reassembled in the reverse way it was disassembled.
Make sure all of the clips are clipped down and secure to complete the install.
