Step by step on how to install the Victory 4x4 Bed Side MOLLE Panel (VCRMP) on a 2015+ Chevy Colorado / GMC Canyon. Steps 1-5 are the same for both. 3rd Gen (2023+) uses steps 6-12 and requires drilling. 2nd Gen (2015-2022) uses steps 13-15.

Lay out the 2 panel sections (larger rear and smaller front), the mounting brackets with nut/backer plates and the logo plates. Compare them to the image for your truck (3rd Gen or 2nd Gen).

Lay the smaller front section (hook location up top, tighter radius at the bottom) over the rear section. Install 1/4"-20 button heads with serrated flange nuts in the 3 round holes along the seam (1" long on 3rd Gen, short on 2nd Gen). Tighten with a 5/32" hex.

In the bed, pop out the oval hole plugs along the bed side with a screwdriver or pry tool. 3rd Gen has 3 plugs, 2nd Gen has 5. Use a plastic pry tool on painted beds.
3rd Gen: go to step 6. 2nd Gen: skip to step 13.

Install the front and rear lower brackets on the bottom edge of the panel. The slotted holes go behind the panel. Use 1/4"-20 x 1" button heads and leave them loose for vertical adjustment.

2 upper brackets are identical; the one with the F cutout goes in the front hole. Pass a 5/16" button head through the bracket into the nut plate, slide the plate into the oval hole and center it. Pull out on the bracket to keep the plate level and tighten with a 3/16" hex.

Set the panel on the 3 upper brackets and start the 1/4"-20 x 1" button heads into the brackets' pre-installed nuts. If holes do not line up, loosen the 5/16" bracket bolts, adjust, then snug up the upper hardware.

Position the panel so it runs parallel (vertical) to the bed side and mark each lower bracket hole on the bed with a marker. Then remove the 3 upper bolts and take the panel out of the way for drilling.

Center punch each mark. Drill a 1/8" pilot hole, then step up to 25/64". Check under the truck before drilling, especially on the driver side by the fuel tank. Test-fit a rivnut; it should press in snugly.

Build the rivnut tool: M6 bolt, flat washer, tall nut, star washer, then the rivnut. Insert it in the hole, hold the tall nut with a 1/2" wrench and turn the bolt with a 10mm socket until tight. Back the tool out and check it is fully seated. Install all 4.

Hang the panel on the upper brackets and start the black M6 button heads in the 4 lower rivnuts. Tighten the 1/4" hardware with a 5/32" hex and the M6 with a 4mm hex. Install the logo plates with #10 stainless button heads (1/8" hex). Skip to step 16.

Slide the logo plates in from the back of the panel (pre-installed nuts) and install the #10 stainless screws with a 1/8" hex. Push and twist the 2 round rubber bumpers into the 2 round holes at the bottom of the rear section.

Assemble each standoff bracket with a backer plate and 5/16" button head. Top 3 holes: bracket steps up and out. Bottom 2 holes: flip the bracket so it steps down and out. Center the plate in the hole, pull out to keep tension and tighten with a 3/16" hex.

Hang the panel on the top center bracket first, then start 1/4"-20 button heads in all 5 brackets. If one is off, pry lightly or loosen its 5/16" bolt through the panel to adjust. Tighten all with a 5/32" hex.

Double check all hardware is tight. The install is complete. Enjoy!
