Origins
Light Bulb Moment
GembaDocs was born on the factory floor. After years of helping manufacturing teams improve quality and efficiency, Tom Hughes (founder/CEO) saw a consistent problem -procedures were either missing, outdated, or too complicated to follow.
He knew there had to be a better way. So, he set out to create a tool that made documenting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) simple, fast, and usable for the people who actually do the work.
What started as a practical solution to a real-world problem of document procedures at Lumen Electronics, has grown into a platform trusted by frontline teams around the world.
